Brenda Clark, CPP®

Brenda is a Certified Protection Professional, Board Certified in Security Management by ASIS International.  She has over 35 years of hands-on experience in security, risk management, emergency management, safety, law enforcement, victim advocacy, instructor training, and organizing and evaluating training exercises.  Brenda is a retired U.S. Army Military Police First Sergeant who is known for her high energy and self-starting attitude. She is a skilled trainer and facilitator who has taught and advised on response procedures for security incidents at various stages.  

 

Brenda is well-versed in the Department of Homeland Security Interagency Security Committee (ISC) standards.  She has conducted numerous security assessments on non-military federal buildings, utilizing the ISC Risk Management Process (RMP) methodology.  Additionally, she is a graduate of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Course and is qualified to instruct Run, Hide, Fight in response to active assailant threat events. 

 

Whether performing threat and vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure and buildings, teaching access control for sensitive or classified facilities, instructing responses to active threats, or planning and evaluating exercises, Brenda consistently demonstrates commitment, diligence, and professionalism drawn from her extensive  training and formal education. 

 

She has held a Department of Defense Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance and has been granted Public Trust status for federal and several state governments.  Brenda understands the principles of duty and selfless service, and exercising discretion when handling sensitive and highly confidential information. She is known for being knowledgeable, approachable, and a pleasure to work with.

 

Brenda holds a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership, a Master's degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.

Kevin Clark, CPP®, CPTED Practitioner

 

Kevin is a Certified Protection Professional, Board Certified in Security Management by ASIS International, and a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Practitioner.  He has over 35 years of hands-on experience in security, risk management, emergency management, instructor training, and law enforcement.  As a retired U.S. Army Military Police Sergeant Major, Kevin has extensive expertise in security and emergency planning, as well as in identifying, mitigating, and correcting security deficiencies that are critical to protecting the 

three general types of assets: People, Property, and Information. 

 

Kevin is well-versed in the standards set by the Department of Homeland Security's Interagency Security Committee (ISC) and has conducted numerous security assessments on non-military federal buildings using the ISC Risk Management Process (RMP) Methodology. He has personally performed over 500 Threat and Vulnerability Assessments, as well as Higher Headquarters Assessments, across federal, state, and local facilities.

 

He is responsible for developing and executing physical security measures, threat assessments, and vulnerability hazard analyses for a variety of clients, including the Department of Defense, state governments, nonprofits, and private organizations.  He played a critical role in shaping policy on national security issues, particularly regarding the sharing of terrorist information among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. 

 

Kevin is a graduate of the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) course and is certified as a Senior Mission Assurance Analyst, Anti-Terrorism Manager, Physical Security Inspector, Emergency Manager, Security Engineer, and Nonlethal Weapons Instructor.  He is regarded as an authority in his field and teaches organizations how to assess facility vulnerabilities, plan for and mitigate active threats, evaluate exercises, and create safe and secure environments. He is qualified to instruct on "Run, Hide, Fight" and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) in response to active assailant threats.  Additionally, Kevin is a certified Firearms Instructor and Defensive Pistol Instructor.
